Victims versus Survivors

OK, will continue to put up loads of pages. Then need to find a wordpress template that allows you to put categories and tags on pages, not just posts. All advice welcome…

In the meantime…

victim implies that the person who suffered trauma is weak and/or unable to respond to their situation> survivor is a word that denotes ability to cope and move on; to integrate the traumatic event into the context of their lives and to accept it, rather than avoiding or “burying” the incident.
