Drama versus Incident

“Drama is a failure. Being in a drama is to be ambushed by our unconscious demons. Being affected by it shows us we haven’t let go of Ego. Maintaining drama is to run down that drain. Drama changes reality and makes it suckier.” Antonio Dias.
Whereas incident, I guess, is just the shit that (always) happens, and that a proper adult faces with equanimity.

There’s that thing from one of the Goleman/Dalai Lama books about how this monk agreed to an MRI scan that was about the ‘startle’ response, and he barely had one at all. Must dig it up when I get back home…
I googled it and I think it’s Destructive Emotions.
