Sexual intercourse-
The act of ‘congress’ between consenting adults is probably the most euphemised physical act.
Three obvious terms, with the proviso that you might slide from one end to the other (!) in the space of one bout of enthusiastic nekkedness.
making love– the ethereal, spiritual ‘how can we say so much without words’ that usually happens only between people who know and really trust each other
having sex– the middle ground- a mixture of passion and mutual giving without any great Meaning
fucking– the animalistic stuff that you do when you are really horny, but NOT automatically meaning you don’t love/respect/not care about the pleasure of the other person.
Other words, like ‘boning’, ‘knobbing’ imply passivity on the part of the ‘receptive’ partner.
